Changes to my study programme

Hi,

When I decided to apply to university, I was full of uncertainty about my career choice. I was faced with an endless list of academic courses, many of which I was completely unfamiliar with. I had no idea what they meant or how they related to my future.

My first year at university turned out to be a journey back to the basics of architecture. The first subjects like geometry, mathematics, history and workshop 1. Everything was done by hand, which was a challenge for me as I had been told, but lied to, that it didn't matter if I drew badly, which it did.

As I entered my second year, the degree began to take shape. I started exploring more specific subjects and working on the computer with programmers, which was also a big challenge in my academic journey.

The workload has been very heavy throughout the course, but I think it's also my fault that I don't know how to organise myself. There are times when I feel like I'm leaving one task to start another, like a never-ending circle.

In the Fau we didn't have much space to work in, we didn't have much space to work in, but now a room has been added to help, but it's still very crowded. But one space that has not been solved is the cafeteria, but that should be solved next year.

  1. FAU is very small and there is no space to work at considering that we study careers were we have to use many materials and big equipment tools ;(
